Please make a note of this: Two students of the Medical College, One from the Dept of Physiology whose Guide/Examiner/Chairman is **** and one from the dept of Ophthalmology whose guide was ****, had their Thesis rejected by External and Internal examiners respectively. The above was ignored by the authorities/Guides and the candidates were allowed to appear ---and have also passed in their MD/MS exams and the results have been declared. The Admin /Guides have been trying to hush up all this. Recently the VC has passed an order that their results be kept in abeyance!!! And they be asked to (redo their thesis and perhaps appear again???). This is for the knowledge of the RTI team for necessary action/record. [A sufferer]. |
In fact somebody should exercise their right to information and make the matter publicly. All that is required is a name and an authentic address |

One cannot but help wondering what ever happened to the money collected during the \'GLOBAL ALUMINI MEET\' of AMU????? |
To the best of our knowledge, only a few alumni promised to contribute significant sums of money. Among them, Rs 25 Lakh was donated by Mr Ameer Ahmed, Teejan Group, Sultanate of Oman, for construction of Management Complex, and about a lakh by Prof Abad Ahmed, as scholarship for students of Dept of Business Administration. In a related development, Mr Ameer Ahmed, in his most recent visit, has signed an MOU with AMU, and he has plans to hand over the completed Management Complex costing several Crores to Dept of Business Administration, within a period of two years. It is to be noted that except the land, AMU will not contribute monetarily in the construction of this proposed complex! In case you have information to the contrary, we suggest you file RTI on the issue. |
